It’s a hectic race that our brave and resourceful protagonists must navigate, overcoming such challenges as tomato sauce geysers and a high-speed pizza-train chase through a live volcano. Dungeon of Fire is the kind of bizarre jamming-up of traditional fantasy with modern-day conceptions that we’ve come to love from this duo of authors.
And as with the other Wednesday Weeks novels, there are fun, story-related STEM-based activities at the end of the book.
