Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health Limited

FISH is proud to launch an exciting new Retail Social Enterprise. The FISH Retail Store offers a platform for Aboriginal authors and artists to display and sell their products. When you purchase a product through FISH you make a direct contribution to the lives of Aboriginal families and communities throughout Australia, whilst supporting a local Not for Profit organisation. At FISH we understand that story telling is one of the foundations of Aboriginal culture, sharing connection to, and caring for country, custom, history, lore, art, and beauty, through a beautifully curated selection of books for your pleasure. Everybody, especially children, love storytelling and we can all remember being read books from an early age. Written word opens people’s hearts, minds and imaginations as they journey with the writer watching the story unfolds. Our book range is extensive with over 240 titles on offer, there is a book for everyone. There are bright bold colourful children’s books, thought provoking memoirs, intriguing dreamtime stories, stories of culture, history, verse and great education resources. FISH also stock a large range of Noongar Bi lingual books for all ages sharing stories in language, Noongar posters and Noongar Flash Card sets. FISH’s work is holistic taking into account the needs of the individual, the family, and the community in bringing positive sustainable change, i.e. healing, housing, education, training, employment and financial stability. We are proud to be able to support and enable Indigenous Business’s throughout Australia to achieve this change.
