Giving Program

MEET OUR 2023 DONORS

A donation to Writing WA is a gift to our state’s storytellers.

It’s the laying down of bricks to build pathways for new and established writers so they can produce the stories that define careers and shape communities. It’s the enabling of festivals, events and programs that showcase writers and deliver rich cultural experiences to WA audiences. When you donate to Writing WA, you give immediate power to new opportunities, new voices and new stories. You join a creative community of doers and change-makers.

Together we write the big picture.

THE PLUS 1 COMMITMENT
We are thrilled to announce that Writing WA has been selected as the recipient of a highly coveted Plus 1 funding commitment from Creative Partnerships Australia, which means that all private donations received by Writing WA up until 31 May 2023 will be matched dollar for dollar by CPA, up to a limit of $10,000. Please consider making a donation to Writing WA and our state’s storytellers knowing that your donation will be instantly doubled in value.

Writing WA is instrumental in developing, supporting and maintaining a community of writers in Western Australia. The development of a community is a difficult thing to measure but is enormously beneficial.
