It’s festival season here at Writing WA.

The Quantum Words Perth 2022 Festival ended last Sunday after three extraordinary days of meaningful connections and thought-provoking conversations. A few visual snippets from the weekend are available here, with more images and audio recordings to be added in the coming weeks.  We’ll keep you posted on this.

Now the attention turns to Ubud Writers & Readers Festival Perth which will be taking place at The Rechabite in Northbridge from 21-23 October. This year we will be hosting Festival founder and director Janet DeNeefe on the ground here in Perth for the first time. Alongside Janet we will be welcoming world-renowned Michelin-trained Executive Chef Wayan Kresna Yasa who will be creating a very special 3-course luncheon, accompanied by Plantagenet wines, on Saturday 22 October. Our special literary guests at the luncheon will be Miles Franklin Award-winning authors Jennifer Down and Josephine Wilson in conversation with Gillian O’Shaughnessy.  This is an event not to be missed so book your tickets quickly.
