On the first weekend of the month, you are invited to put your storytelling skills to the test.

With a different brief each month, your job is to race the clock to come up with your best 500 words-or-fewer story.

Entry fee: free to enter.

Prize: $500.

The challenge goes live at 5 pm (in the Eastern States) on the Friday of the first weekend of every season.

The competition closes at midnight (in the Eastern States) on the Sunday night of the same weekend.
