Aśka, (pronounced Ashka), has over ten years of experience in children’s illustration, graphic and product design, making comics, animating and children’s science education. Though she has travelled the world with her Quantum Physics and Arts Degrees, she now calls Australia home.
Aśka is an active member of the children’s literature sector and holds the role of the illustrator coordinator in the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators – WA. She is also a recipient of the DCA Development Grant and the May Gibbs Fellowship, for developing original illustrated works.

Currently she is working on illustrations for more children’s books and magazines, delivers talks and workshops to schools across WA and is working on her graphic novel and visual literacy ideas.
