Untapped: The Australian Literary Heritage Project

Untapped is a collaboration between authors, libraries and researchers, working together to identify and restore Australia’s lost literary treasures.

This has included identifying missing books, identifying authors and obtaining rights, digitising the books and asking libraries to promote the scheme.

The online collection includes great Western Australian authors, including Katherine Susannah Prichard, T.A.G. Hungerford, Steve Hawke, and Peter Cowan, with more books to be added to the collection in the future.

You can find out more about Untapped and explore the entire collection on Untapped’s website.

You can now access them for free via your Library membership using OverDrive and Borrowbox.
