Writing WA and Night Parrot Press are excited to announce the creation of a new Western Australian journal that will feature original creative works of poetry, creative nonfiction, fiction and other forms. The inaugural volume of the little journal will be published in June 2024 and will be edited by special guest editor Aksel Dadswell alongside series editors Laura Keenan and Linda Martin. The journal – small in size, large in impact – will celebrate a different genre with each volume and feature stories that are guaranteed to captivate, challenge, and entertain. The first edition will feature new speculative fiction works by Western Australian writers. Further details about the journal and submissions will be announced at the Perth Festival Writers Weekend and on our socials in the weeks following.
