The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) has announced the launch of Authors Legal, a new non-profit law firm providing low-cost legal advice exclusively to ASA members.

Headed by Managing Lawyer and Director Victoria Chylek, Authors Legal provides legal advice on:

• Trade publishing agreements
• Ghost-writing agreements
• Literary agent and author agreements
• Distribution agreements
• Copyright
