Ky Garvey, creator and host of the Totally Lit podcast is excited to announce the inaugural Totally Lit Micro Fiction Prize.  Ky has had the pleasure of interviewing Australian creatives since 2019 and has been working behind the scenes on a new initiative for Totally Lit to be able to provide other opportunities and exposure for Aussie creatives. Thus, the Totally Lit Micro Fiction Prize has been created to support and encourage emerging writers. Ky is proud to acknowledge and support the Carers Foundation during National Carers Week through this writing initiative. The competition will be open for entries during the month of October which coincides with National Carers Week 13-19 October.

The Totally Lit Micro Fiction prize is proud to be supporting The Carers Foundation by donating $5.00 of each $20 entry fee to the foundation.

Winners Announced: Midnight (AEST) Saturday 30 November 2024 – Winners will be announced on the Totally Lit podcast episode ‘Meet the Winners’.

Entry fee: $20.00

Word count: Up to 500 words

Code word: Each story submission must include the code word provided within the ‘Meet the Judges’ podcast episode of Totally Lit. The code word is to be included within the body of the story. Any story which does not include the code word will be disqualified.
