Rebecca Newman is a children’s poet and flash fiction author. Her work has appeared in magazines and anthologies in Australia and internationally. Rebecca has experience presenting to primary school groups about writing poetry and choral speaking (performing poetry as a group).
Rebecca Newman is a children’s poet and flash fiction author. Her poetry has been published in The School Magazine (published by the NSW Department of Education), a children’s poetry anthology (Bloomsbury, UK) and exhibited at Paper Bird Books and Art in Fremantle, Western Australia. Her flash fiction for adults has been shortlisted in competitions and published in an anthology by Night Parrot Press in Western Australia.
Rebecca has experience presenting to primary school groups about writing poetry and choral speaking (performing poetry as a group). Rebecca is also the editor at Alphabet Soup’s website www.alphabetsoup.net.au, which provides a forum for children’s own writing.
