Biography

Louise is the author of the novel, 'The Sisters' Song' (Allen and Unwin, 2018), which won the 2018 Tina Kane Emergent Writer Award and was shortlisted for the 2014 City of Fremantle—TAG Hungerford Award. She also won a Varuna Residential Fellowship (2014) and was the Scholarship Writer in Residence at Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre (2019). She originally hails from Tasmania and her first career was as a doctor. Other interests include swimming, reading, music and photography.
