We're between the lines, helping our writing industry thrive

2019 Express Media Toolkits: Live

Through the Toolkits: Live series of live streamed YouTube sessions and interactive social media, participants can develop their writing skill set and hone their craft—all in the comfort of their own homes.

Participants will learn the ropes of writing memoir with Carly Findlay, explore the tools needed for digital and physical drawing with Rachel Ang, learn how to write authentic dialogue with Alison Evans, discover world-building, setting and atmosphere with Jamie Marina Lau, and more.

Toolkits: Live is open to all writers including high school and university students, regardless of writing experience. Young people living in outer-metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Australia are encouraged to jump on board— participants just need motivation and an internet connection.

The live-streamed sessions can watched via the Toolkits YouTube channel, and include:

Tuesday 9th April: Part Memoir, Part Manifesto with Carly Findlay (watch here).

Wednesday 17th April: Tools & How to Use Them with Rachel Ang
