DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the release of Circle of Wonders\, Books in the Brewery are proud to present this exclusive Perth workshop hosted by international multi-award winning author Kathryn Heyman. \nRich\, luscious writing is writing which has wonder in it – wonder on the page\, and the life in the writing of it. In this workshop for writers (and aspiring writers) we’ll explore ways of making your words and characters sing with wonder. \nHow do you make a character seem alive? How do you create a sense of place which is convincing? And how do you keep the sense of life and joy in your writing process? \nWhether you’re working on short stories\, a novel or a memoir\, this inspiring session will help you awaken your curiosity and wonder\, and find new ways into your writing. Using practical exercises\, you’ll dream up scenes\, play with images and flesh out characters.
