Roland Leach Poetry Prize 2021

The City of Nedlands Roland Leach Poetry Prize is a biennial poetry competition, which aims to promote poetry in the community and to recognise and reward outstanding, original works of poetry written by children and young adults in Western Australia.

Entries are judged in the following categories: middle primary (Years 3 and 4); upper primary (Years 5 and 6); lower secondary (Years 7, 8 and 9); upper secondary (Years 10, 11 and 12).

Prizes are awarded for first, second and third in each category. The winners will receive book vouchers and be presented with a trophy and certificate. The Roland Leach Poetry Prize is presented to the poet with the most outstanding entry.

Closing date: Sunday 15 August 2021.
