Penguin Random House Australia has announced submissions are now open for its annual Write It Fellowship Program 2021.
The Write It Fellowship Program has returned for another year to discover and develop passionate writers from all genres and age groups, focusing attention on under-represented members of the community such as writers from a socio-economically marginalised background, LGBTQI+, Indigenous or CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) writers or writers with a disability.
The Write It Fellowship Program is open to writers without previously published books and serves as an unmissable opportunity for those wishing to share their unique experiences.
Include the first 5000 words of your unpublished manuscript or a complete manuscript if it is under 5000 words.
Successful applicants will receive the special opportunity to be mentored by professional editors from Penguin Random House Australia and will also be invited to attend the PRHA Open House Day and learn about the many intricate components of publishing.
Submissions close Sunday 15 November 2020.
The shortlist will be revealed on 1 February 2021, with the winner to be announced in the first week of May 2021.
