To all aspiring and emerging writers — here is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the craft of writing with an acclaimed published author. Are you keen to unearth and create stories from Kimberley country? Stimulate your imagination over two days in the inspiring ambience of Roebuck Bay, with like-minded people.
Storyteller Sarah Drummond, author of the social history/memoir Salt Story, of sea dogs and fisherwomen and the historical novel The Sound, will be running a workshop to give Broome locals and visitors alike the tools to craft stories from our rich history and landscape.
Location: spacious private venue within walking distance of Roebuck Bay, set in lush gardens, with nooks for thinking and writing.
Times: 9 am to 4 pm, with breaks. Delicious lunch and morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
