Stories and poems are sought for the Albany-Kinjarling and Great Southern Authors Anthology 2024. They must be received by February 25th.
The aim is to highlight and publish the work of new, emerging and established local authors. Submissions from a broad range of genres will be considered. They can be set in locations and contexts local, Australian, international, even imaginary such as in fantasy and science fiction.
Word limits: stories 100 to 3,000 words; poems 2 to 50 lines.
Free to enter. Royalties and fees will not be payable. This is a not-for-profit undertaking, and surpluses will be paid to Albany Community Hospice.
If your submission is selected, it will be included in the anthology (hardcopy and e-book) which we hope to release by 31 May 2024.
Submitted stories and poems may also be read on community radio or at readings in Albany-Kinjarling and the Great Southern.
Closing date: Sunday 25 February 2024.
