Writing WA produces four different e-newsletters. The newsletters are all free to receive and you can subscribe to any combination.

Writing WA E-News — Fortnightly

Our E-News is our most important way of communicating with members of the Western Australian writing and publishing community. This free newsletter contains the latest news, opportunities and events occurring in the WA and Australian writing sectors.

Love to Read Local — Monthly

This e-newsletter is for anyone who loves to know about the latest books by Western Australian writers, illustrators and publishers. It contains book reviews and listings of new publications, plus a profile of a WA creator. This newsletter is suitable for all readers but is especially useful for librarians, booksellers, teachers, presenters of literary events, and members of book clubs.

Love to Read Local for Book Clubs — Monthly

Each month we showcase a book that we think will generate great discussions in book clubs. Our recommendations are all by West Australian writers and the selected titles cover a range of genres. Our Book Clubs e-newsletter contains detailed information about our featured Book of the Month and questions to prompt conversation.

Writing WA Festivals and Events — Irregular

Writing WA works to create new opportunities for members of the Western Australian writing and publishing sector. In 2019 we partnered with Writing NSW to create Quantum Words Perth, and with Teamwork Arts and the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre to present the Confluence Festival in Mandurah. Subscribe to this newsletter to find out about these and other new festivals and events.

To subscribe to any or all of these newsletters, head to our subscription page, fill in your details (name and email address), tick the relevant boxes for the newsletters you wish to receive, and hit ‘subscribe’!
