Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival Program Launched

The program for the Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival, to be held in Geraldton from 13 to 16 June 2019, has been launched.

This year’s program, with the theme ‘Oceans of Opportunity’, includes:

  • an annual address to honour Randolph Stow, inaugurated by John Kinsella
  • home grown talent in the limelight
  • art exhibition by Marina Baker will recount Big Sky over the years
  • Big Sky Feast
  • Literary High Tea
  • Tales and Teacups
  • A poetry night, Verse in the Valley
  • Keynote speaker, Anita Heiss, will share her perspectives as an advocate for Indigenous literature and literacy
  • workshops
  • photography competition
