2021 Fogarty Literary Award Shortlist

Fremantle Press has announced the shortlist for the 2021 Fogarty Literary Award:

  • The Glass House by Brooke Dunnell
  • A Horse Held at Gunpoint by Patrick Marlborough
  • Old Boy by Georgia Tree

The judges also decided to highly commend a further five writers:

  • Deadline by Alex Dook
  • As with Everything Else the End Eventually Comes by Daniel Juckes
  • The Good Daughter by Emily Paull
  • The Horizon Events: A Veil Is Torn by Luke Winter
  • Mooney River by Alice Woodland

The winner of the 2021 Fogarty Literary Award will be announced on Wednesday 2 June at the Fremantle Press Great Big Book Read at Edith Cowan University’s Spiegeltent.

NB. Please note that tickets for the Great Big Book Read and 2021 Fogarty Literary Award Ceremony are sold out but please add yourself to the waitlist (via eventbrite) in case COVID-19 restrictions ease and additional tickets can be released. If there is enough interest, Fremantle Press will send you a link to a live stream.
