Summary

As an award-winning novelist and journalist, I offer manuscript assessments and editing services. I devour all types of writing (from thrillers, literary fiction, historical fiction and women’s fiction) but my specialities are psychological thrillers and crime.

Biography

After graduating from the University of Cambridge, I worked as a journalist for a number of British magazines and newspapers, including The Daily Mail, the Daily Express and Red magazine.

I became a freelance journalist after my husband was offered a position in Western Australia. I have worked widely in Australia, Denmark and Dubai.

While working as a journalist, I started trying to write a novel. After completing several writing courses, I entered my work in progress into the Emirates Literature Festival. It won first place and the finished manuscript was subject to a bidding war. It was published earlier this year and my second novel, The Reunion, is out in July 2022.

Relevant qualifications

My Best Friend’s Murder won the Montegrappa Prize at the Emirates Literature Festival in 2019. It was published by S&S in January 2020.

I also hold both a BA and an MA from the University of Cambridge.
