Biography
Meg McKinlay is a children's writer and poet who has published seventeen books for young people and a collection of poetry for adults. Her children's writing ranges from picture books through to young adult fiction, with publications including the Prime Minister's Literary Award-winning A Single Stone, and the CBCA-shortlisted No Bears and Duck for a Day, among many others.
Meg is an experienced and engaging presenter who enjoys working with groups of all ages. She is equally comfortable giving workshops and talks for adults as she is stirring up a pot of stuffed animals in front of a crowd of pre-schoolers!
