Kevin Price is a writer, teacher and student of story. He holds a PhD in creative writing from Murdoch University and is the author of Kumakana: A Gronups Tale, Story Craft: A Born Storytellers Theory and Teaching Manual and Story Craft II: A Born Storytellers Workbook.
Biography
It was 1986 when Kevin decided to put his energy into writing for a living. He began as a columnist for a leading advertising magazine and soon morphed into writing advertising and other corporate fictions for the best part of the following twenty-five years. In 2005, he developed the highly acclaimed Born Storytellers program, teaching school students the art and craft of story writing, leading them to publishing their work. He is the author of Story Craft: A Born Storytellers Workbook, and the novel, Kumakana: A Gronups Tale. He holds a Humanities PhD in Creative Writing, and lives and writes in his studio in the hills north of Perth, Western Australia.
