Kevin Price

Summary

Kevin Price is an author who lives in the hills north of Perth. He holds a PhD in creative writing from Murdoch University and is the author of Poetic Licence, a political thriller set in Fremantle (2022), Kumakana: A Gronups Tale, an Austrtalian fairy tale set in the great southern forest (2017) and writing teaching teaxtbook Story Craft, A Born Storytellers Theory and Teaching Manual (2014).

Biography

It was 1986 when Kevin decided to put his energy into writing for a living. He began as a columnist for a leading advertising magazine and soon morphed into writing advertising and other corporate fictions for the best part of the following twenty-five years. In 2005, he developed the highly acclaimed Born Storytellers program, teaching school students the art and craft of story writing, leading them to publishing their work. He is a partner in Crotchet Quaver noteworthy publishing and lives and writes in his studio in the hills north of Perth, Western Australia.
