Biography
Jay Chesters is an internationally published, award-winning, best-selling author of two books, which sounds much more impressive than it is. Jay writes unusual contemporary fiction, weaving together folklore and science fiction with fantasy, horror, and social commentary. Mostly intentionally.
After 20 years of living in a dozen different cities across three continents, Jay now lives on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja with his wife and two boisterous cats.
When he’s not working, Jay is usually found in the wild in Perth’s bookshops, cafes, and coffee shops, writing and making the place look untidy. When he’s not writing, Jay generally frets about how he should be writing.
Jay also has other works appearing in collections from Night Parrot Press and online in various places.
