A lifelong gardener, Helen has been growing flowers for nearly three decades. From curated rose varieties to an impressive array of annuals, perennials, and Australian natives, her cutting garden provides material year-round for her design work.
Helen Leighton is a floral designer with a sustainable philosophy for growing and creating with flowers at Riverdale Farm.
Her garden-gathered style and romantic aesthetic is informed by her lifelong love of gardens, her studies both in Garden Design at the Inchbald School of Design in London, and Floral Design with Zita Elze and other leading botanical artists in the UK.
Together with her husband, Jim, Helen has built a creative, country lifestyle for her family at Riverdale Farm near Albany, Western Australia.
When not tending to her large country garden, micro flower farm, and floral design business, Helen will be behind her camera or gathering with family and friends at the farm.
