Summary

Elaine Forrestal is a writer, reviewer, blogger, mentor and public speaker. She has novels, picture books, short story anthologies, historical fiction and magazine articles, and one poem, published around the world in English, Italian and Slovenian. She is also an experienced judge of writing competitions. Elaine lives in Scarborough, Western Australia, and walks on the dog beach - without a dog.

Biography

Elaine Forrestal is a trained teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree and a Higher Degree by Research majoring in Children's Fiction. Her first short stories were published in 1983, her first novel in 1991. She has been a full time author since 1999 and now has 18 books published. She has presented workshops, author talks, conference addresses and festival events Australia-wide as well as in Singapore, France and Northern Ireland. Elaine has a Working With Children Card and loves presenting workshops and author talks in schools and libraries. She is also happy to speak at book clubs for adults or children.
