Colin Falconer’s books have been translated into 24 languages. He is best known for historical adventure fiction. His bestselling books include ‘Silk Road’, ‘Aztec’ and ‘Harem’. His latest epic release is ‘Lord of the Atlas’.
Colin has also written three medieval fiction novels, some modern historicals, and recently wrote a crime series, featuring DI Charlie George, a detective in a North London murder squad.
Born in North London, Colin now lives in Fremantle.
Biography
Colin Falconer is best known for epic historical fiction. 'Harem', the story of Suleiman the Magnificent sold over 150,000 copies in Germany. 'Aztec', about Spanish conquistador, Hernan Cortes, stayed on the best seller lists in Mexico for four months.
Other novels include 'Silk Road', 'Cleopatra - When We Were Gods', 'Stigmata', 'Colossus' and ‘Lord of the Atlas’.
Colin has also written three medieval historical novels including 'Isabella, Braveheart of France', which is published by Lake Union in the US, and some modern historicals.
Colin has recently written a London-based crime series, featuring DI Charlie George and published by Hachette in the UK.
