Summary
Amber Moffat is an author, illustrator and poet from New Zealand, currently based in Western Australia. She writes for children, young adults and adults. Amber is an experienced teacher and fierce advocate for arts education. She believes that being able to share stories is the most magnificent thing about being human.
Biography
Amber’s picture book I Would Dangle the Moon (MidnightSun Publishing) was released in 2019. Amber was both the author and illustrator for I Would Dangle the Moon. Her poetry has been published in Glottis and will feature in a Penguin Random House anthology in 2021. Amber is has extensive teaching experience and enjoys sharing her practice with children and adults. She has been awarded an Emerging Writers’ Mentorship by the Australian Society of Authors and a Paper Bird Fellowship from Fremantle’s Paper Bird Books and Arts. She is currently undertaking her Honours in Creative Writing at Edith Cowan University.
