ID: Author Brigid Lowry sits in a garden with a bamboo fence behind her. She is looking off-camera in a contemplative mood.

Brigid’s essays offer reflections on everything from friendship to grief, and from gratitude to self-care. A Year of Loving Kindness to Myself and Other Essays is all the encouragement you’ll need to nurture yourself and those around you.

After developing an interest in creative writing at a young age, Brigid has written eight award-winning young adult books.

A Year of Loving Kindness to Myself and Other Essays: A beautifully presented and uplifting book of contemplative, wry, sometimes funny essays.
