Winter Nights 2019 Keynote Lecture: On Theatre

23 July @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$15

Theatre as a ritual of storytelling is an essential part of our humanity. To open Winter Nights 2019, Shelagh Magadza, the new director of the Chamber of Arts and Culture WA, and former Artistic Director of Perth Festival, takes a deep look at how we create the rituals and spaces of theatre today. As we embark on two weeks of experimentation and ideas, Shelagh will plant seeds of new thought about telling stories and the spaces, places and form of theatre arts.

For more information and to purchase a ticket, please visit The Blue Room’s website, where you can also download a brochure about other performances scheduled as part of The Blue Room’s Winter Nights 2019 program.
