The Poets meet on the third Saturday of every month from February to November 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.

Level: Suitable for those who have some understanding of poetry. If you are unsure please come along to a session and have a chat with Kay.

Group Overview: A forum for poets to meet, write, and share their work with other poets. The group gives poets an opportunity to hone their skills and develop their own, unique, poetic voice gaining valuable feedback in a supportive atmosphere with like-minded people. It is aimed at those who have been writing for some time and have some familiarity with their genre. The first hour of each session is devoted to writing – following a brief focus on a poetic technique or prompt. The second hour is devoted to critiquing of a piece of work that members have brought to share with the group. All adult writers over the age of 18 are welcome.

Cost: $5.00 for PCWC members, $10 for non-members, includes light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits).
