Do you have a great idea for a children’s book? Then you can’t miss this.

Multi award-winning writer, Norman Jorgensen, will share insights into his career, his books and the inspiration and research he did to create his exciting stories. Norman will also share writing tips and provide guidelines to writing structure, plot development and story development that have worked for him and helped him get published more than a dozen times.

Jan Nicholls joined the WA Branch of the Children’s Book Council of Australia many years ago and is now in her second stint as WA Branch President. Jan reviews books for Writing WA and is a Premier’s Book Award Judge and a judge in the Tim Winton Award. Jan will give us insights into what makes a children’s book a stand-out and an overview of the incredible talent we have here in WA.
