From September, Louise Allan be running a fortnightly in-person writing session on a Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm at Mattie Furphy House in Swanbourne, Perth.

Participants will write to a prompt, and there will be the opportunity to read your work to the group afterwards. The atmosphere is encouraging (only positive feedback allowed, as it’s a first draft), designed to get the critic off your back and words on the page. Louise uses the prompts to exercise different writing muscles, so you learn some writing tips along the way, too. It will be enjoyable and fun!
