Aussie & UK writers have been meeting up to write pieces about what sort of future we want for ourselves and our communities under a theme of ‘Re-invent the Future’, guided by poet and journalist Cath Drake (an Aussie living in London).

This international reading will feature highlights from these poems and stories from across the UK (incl. Liverpool, London, Glasgow, Devon, Worcester, Buckinghamshire, Bishop’s Stortford) and Australia (incl. Perth, Fremantle, Swan Valley, Albany in WA, Launceston in Tasmania, Tambourine Mountain in Queensland and Tongala, Northern Victoria).

The guest reader for the event will be Malika Booker, an award-winning poet, theatre-maker, performer and multi-disciplinary artist of Guyanese and Grenadian parentage.
