Gosnells Writers Circle is a not-for-profit group that promotes the craft of writing in all its forms.

This event, held by GWC and sponsored by the City of Gosnells, will include the launch of GWC’s 2019 anthology Pencilled Down and the release of Showcase Magazine Issue 29.

Pencilled Down

Launched by Guest Author – Tabetha Rogers Beggs: Author, Arts, Tourism and Marketing specialist.

Pencilled Down is a tribute to the mental musings, creative jots and inspired scribbles that find their way to a page – only to be erased, rewritten and obsessed over until they become a finished work of fiction, poetry or a true story.

Showcase Magazine: Release of Issue 29

Showcase is produced three times per year, providing entertaining magazine-style short reads.

In this issue, GWC is thrilled to welcome new sub editors – Southern River College.

This partnership provides an avenue for the students to take creative control over their own segment – creating, editing and finally seeing their work in print.

Guest artist Victoria Easby will be displaying her oil paintings at this event – one of which is featured in this Showcase edition.

The event is suitable for anyone with an interest in creativity, reading or writing. There is an opportunity to meet and greet local authors, and purchase publications and unique creative products over afternoon tea.
