Live Author Talk: Madelaine Dickie via Zoom

27 May @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Award-winning author Madelaine Dickie’s latest novel Red Can Origami is a wild tale of beer guzzling, barramundi fishing, and a bitter conflict between a Japanese-owned uranium mining company and a native title group. The action sweeps from the rodeos and fishing holes of northern Australia, to the dazzling streets of night-time Tokyo.

Learn about the inspiration behind Red Can Origami, as well as about Madelaine’s first novel Troppo, which won the City of Fremantle Hungerford Award and was shortlisted for the Dobbie Literary Award and the Barbara Jefferis Award.

This session will take place online, via Zoom. Please download the Zoom app on your mobile device or sign-up for Zoom on your PC or laptop.

A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day before the session on Tuesday 26th May.
