Launch of Westerly 64.1

You are invited to join in celebrating Westerly‘s first print issue for 2019.

Westerly 64.1 has gathered original and diverse writing from over 50 authors, including Ambelin Kwaymullina, Sarah Holland-Batt, Ouyang Yu, Brenda Saunders, Christopher Konrad, Jill Jones, Donna Mazza, Tony Hughes-d’Aeth, Simone Lazaroo, Andrew Lynch, Chris Wallace-Crabbe, and a host of others.

Also announced in this issue the winner of the 2018 Patricia Hackett Prize: David Carlin, for his creative non-fiction essay ‘Love Lane (the work of writing)’, which was published in Westerly 63.1.

The issue will be officially launched at The Moon, Late Night Cafe, at 323 William Street, Northbridge, between 6 and 8 pm.

Admission is free but tickets are limited, so RSVP via eventbrite is essential. Spaces are going fast, and a wait list has been enabled.
