Artist and writer Megan Anderson discusses her career shift from journalist to dog artist, sharing stories and images from her new book, Word of Dog.

The City of Perth Library invites you to join us to celebrate International Dog Day.

About Word of Dog: What can we learn from the gentle art of listening? With affection and wit, Megan Anderson has assembled characters from the dog world to put a canine face on human observations – those things that occupy our thoughts, and delight, move or perplex us. Word of Dog is a joy for readers of all breeds and temperaments.

About Megan Anderson: Megan Anderson is an artist and writer.She paints under the guise of Hangdog Art, and has been a feature writer for The West Australian newspaper, editor of Scoop Magazine, and a travel writer for various Australian publications.

Cost: Free, but book now as places are limited.
