From Technocrat to Leader with Don Gordon

The City of Vincent Library will host Don Gordon, author of From Technocrat To Leader, for a talk about the foundations of leadership, covering his transition from a very technically-focused engineering graduate to a leader and the lessons he learned along the way. He will also talk about his adventures in the Atacama Desert of Chile where he lived for 2 years.

About Don Gordon: Donald Macrae Gordon is an author, speaker, mentor and consultant based in Perth, Western Australia. He has held numerous leadership and senior management roles, has been a thought leader in several industries and has lived and worked in five countries. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management WA and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. In 1993 the University of Melbourne awarded him a Master of Engineering degree for significant innovations in the mining industry.
