Broome Barefaced Stories

15 June - 16 June

Free – $15

Barefaced is visiting the Kimberley.

Barefaced’s monthly storytelling show in Perth punches well above its weight, harvesting a line up from an international, national and local talent pool – from surgeons and stay-at-home mums alongside dilettantes and deviants – all living proof that stories are who we are.

Sometimes confessional, rarely pulpit, always surprising – guaranteed brutally frank.

Workshops will be run by Barefaced Artistic Director Andrea Gibbs for Broome locals on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2019, with a special one night only performance on Wednesday 19 at the Broome Civic Centre.

Participation in the workshops is FREE with roughly ten positions available. Tickets to the evening performance is $15 for audience members.

To registrar your interest in the workshop, please email broomeciviccentre@broome.wa.gov.au or call (08) 9191 8780.

This is a unique chance for Kimberley residents to share their stories, whether they’re heartbreaking, funny, tragic, or just plain wacky.  All comers welcome, the less experienced the better.

If you’re a Broome local and feel like you’ve always had a story to tell, this is your chance – don’t miss it.
