The Australian/Vogel’s Literary Award is one of Australia’s richest and prestigious awards for an unpublished manuscript by a writer under the age of thirty-five.

Entrants must be aged under 35 years of age on 31 May 2020 (that is born after 31 May 1985).

The manuscript submitted with the entry form should be a work of fiction, Australian history or biography.

Word Limits: a minimum length of 30,000 words and a maximum of 100,000 words.

You will need to submit your manuscript, a one-page synopsis, and completed entry form, preferably all in PDF format.

Entry fee: $25.00

Prize: $20,000 plus publication by Allen & Unwin with an advance against royalties.

Closing date: Sunday 31 May 2020.
