Quarantine Quill Competition (April)

The Quarantine Quill competition is a monthly competition run by the KSP Writer’s Centre.

Word limit: 50 words.

Include the three words chosen by KSP.

April words: Anzac – Sunset – Sigh

Note: Variances acceptable, i.e. storm-cloud for storm, smiling/smiled for smile. Hyphenated words are counted as one word

Limit of one story or poem per person

Open to all writers, any age, no theme.

April’s Closing date: Tuesday 20 April 2021.

Email entry to: [email protected]

Include your story/poem and title in the body of the email, plus your full name or nom de plume, suburb and state of residence (and age if under 18 years)

The judges are looking for creative use of words and an engaging story-snapshot that makes us smile and giggle, or feel sad/moved, or connect with the protagonist/s.

KSP’s favourite pieces will be published in the following KSP newsletter.
