The Maureen Free Literary Competition consists of three categories:
- short story up to 2,000 words, with a title of ‘freedom’
- flash fiction up to 500 words, with an open theme
- poetry up to 40 lines, with an open theme.
Entry fee: A$10 per entry or A$20 for three entries in one or all categories. (Maximum six entries per person – in one or all categories).
Prizes: first prize ($300), second prize ($100), third prize ($50).
Closing date: Thursday 13 May 2021.
