Maureen Freer (FAWQ) Literary Competition 2020

Submit a short story, poem or article to the Maureen Freer Literary Competition.

Short story:

Submit a story story up to 2,000 words on the topic “… and he/she seemed such a reasonable person …”

This line should appear somewhere in the narrative.

Poetry:

Submit a poem up to 40 lines on an open theme.

Article:

Submit an article up to 3,000 words on the topic of “connecting community”.

Entry fee: $10 per entry or $20 for three entries in one or all categories.

Prizes: first prize $300; second prize $100 and third prize $50.

Entries close: Tuesday 30 June 2020.
