KSP Poetry Awards

The KSP Foundation is proud to present this annual poetry competition for Australian adult and youth writers.

Word limits: up to 50 lines in all categories.

Categories: Open KSP Poetry Awards (18 years plus); Youth KSP Poetry Awards (10 to 17 years); Annette Cameron Encouragement Award.

Entry fee: Youth: free ; Adult & Annette Cameron: 1 poem $10; 2 poems $15; 3 poems $20.

Prizes: 1st place $300 prize for open plus weekend residency at the KSP Writers’ Centre (non-transferable, $300 value) and $100 1st place prize for youth; 2nd place certificates with $150 prize for open and $50 for youth; up to five commended certificates for both open and youth; 1st place $100 prize for Annette Cameron Encouragement Award for an unpublished WA poet; up to three commended certificates for Annette Cameron Encouragement Award; Mundaring National Young Writers encouragement award for under 14s with $25 prize.

Closing date: 5.00pm AWST Friday 11 October 2019.
