Allen & Unwin has announced the unveiling of the annual Allen & Unwin Crime Fiction Prize.
The prize calls for aspiring crime fiction writers to submit their full-length, unpublished crime or thriller manuscripts between 70,000 and 100,000 words in length. The winning author will receive a publishing contract with an advance against royalties of $25,000.
This award is open to Australian and New Zealand residents as well as debut writers and already-published writers.
The winning manuscript will be announced in September 2021 and published the following year.
Entries open from Monday 31 August 2020, and will close on Friday 26 February 2021.
