2020 Peter Porter Poetry Prize

Australian Book Review welcomes entries in the sixteenth Peter Porter Poetry Prize.

Entries must be an original single-authored poem of not more than 70 lines written in English. Poems must not have been previously published.

Entry fee: online entry (current ABR subscriber) – $15; online entry (full-time student) – $15; online entry (standard/non subscriber) – $25.

Prizes: First Prize is AU$7,000; four other shortlisted poets will be awarded AU$500 each. The five shortlisted poems will be published in the January–February 2020 issue and the winner will be announced at a ceremony later that month.

Entries close: Tuesday 1 October 2019.
