2020 Carmel Bird Digital Literary Award

Now in its third year, the Carmel Bird Digital Literary Award is for short story collections up to 30,000 words in length.

The writing may take the form of fiction or creative non-fiction. The collection may be comprised of short stories, micro-fiction or novella. Submissions may also include reflective essays on the stories in the collection.

Entries may consist of audio-visual content, hyperlinks as well as text.

Entry fee: $25. Concession holders and full-time students may enter for $20 via a Concession entry form.

Prizes: The award includes cash prize amounts of $3000 for the winner  and $1000 for two runners-up as well as world-wide digital publication of all three winning entries as part of the Capsule Collections series.

Closing date: Sunday 2 February 2020.
