Project 360
Project 360 has been conceived by writingWA as a means to practically demonstrate the value of a multiplatform – or 360 degree – approach to content development.
Project 360 centres on the creation of a suite of three book apps, each to be developed from extant publications by WA authors. Across the suite, writingWA will cater to audiences ranging in age from pre-school to upper secondary students. Each app will incorporate interactive age-appropriate learning components to enhance and value-add to the source literary content.
The first app in the suite is currently in production and is being developed from the highly successful children's publication Caterpillar and Butterfly by Ambelin Kwaymullina (Fremantle Press).
We look forward to announcing the launch of this app later in the year.
We also look forward to announcing details very soon regarding the content and development timetable for the second and third apps in the Project 360 suite.

writingWA gratefully acknowledges the investment made in Project 360 by the CAL Cultural Fund.
